Re: [TRNSYS-users] Question about Type93

Arnaud,
I just made a quick test of Type93 and it appears to me to work the way the documentation says (and the way you understand it). In other words the first output is the current value of the input. If you are seeing something different then please send your project (and any filed needed in order to run it) to your distributor for them to have a look.
Kind regards,
 David

Hi all,

A short question about type93 (Input Value Recall).
I link an output of one of my EQUATIONS modules to the input of Type93. It has only this input, and I specify "2" as the number of timesteps to be stored. So, if I'm not mistaken, the 1st output of Type93, called "Inp-Step-1" should be exactly the same value as the input of that same Type93 module... right ? And that's the current value of my variable in my EQUATION module.

But when I plot all that, it's more like "Inp-Step-1" is the value at PREVIOUS timestep, and "Inp-Step-2" is the value 2 timesteps before.. That's not what the documentation seem to say..

Can anyone help ?

Why would I want to access the current value of a variable that I already got ? ==> because I'd like to use an equation of the type A = A + B .. but that's forbidden in the EQUATION module.. so I'd use the recalled value in that equation.

Thanks !
Arnaud.
