Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type 93_Input Value Recall

Dear Transsolar distributor and David,

Good Day!

I tried to use the two methods as David said last email, but, Type 93 still has an additional Input Noname and it always has the ERROR after running as I described last email. Therefore, could you (Transsolar distributor) forward me a new copy of the proforma for Type 93. My Trnsys version is 16.1.

Many thanks in advance!

Wang,
The number of inputs to Type93 is supposed to adjust automatically to be equal to the value of parameter 1. Somehow the Type93 in your project has gotten confused. I would recommend that you change the value of parameter 1 to three and press "Enter" then switch to the "inputs" tab and make sure that the proforma is now asking for 3 inputs. Switch back to the parameters tab and change the value to 1 again and press enter. Now check the inputs tab to make sure that it is asking for one input.

You could also try deleting the Type93 from your project and then put in a new one. If even that does not work then there is a chance that the Type93 proforma itself has been corrupted in which case you would need to ask your distributor for a new copy of the proforma.
Kind regards,
 David

Dear all and Mr. Bradley,

I used Type 93 to obtain TSI_S7 (inside surface temperature of ceiling) of last time step as the input of my Equation. Therefore, I need to store 1 input for 1 timestep (these are the two parameters in Type93). My idea is that I get the result of Type56 (TSI_S7 temperature) and use it as input1 to Type93. Then, I use the output from Type93 as the temperature that I use in my equation. However, after running, it always exists the ERROR as follows:

*** Fatal Error at time   :         0.000000
    Generated by Unit     :    44
    Generated by Type     :    93
TRNSYS Message    103 : The TRNSYS TYPE checking routine has found an inconsistency in the specified component between the input file and the information expected by the Type
Reported information  : An illegal number of INPUTS has been specified for this component. Please check the component configuration. 1 INPUTS are required and 2 were specified.

Attached is Lst File.

However, There are 2 Inputs for Type 93. One links to  TSI_S7 (inside surface temperature of ceiling), another is Noname. How should I deal with 2nd Input Noname?

How could I deal with this ERROR problem?

Many thanks in advance!

Nidal,
My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. This is a known bug with one of the modes of Type752. The fix is in the next scheduled release. If you need the fix immediately, please contact your distributor and we can get it to you through them.
Kind regards,
 David

Dear all

I am trying use of type 752e to control the humidity ratio with type 56 (in TRNSYS 17). But I couldn't find Absolute Humidity Ratio in the input tab. It is replaced with "Not Used". Moreover an error occur when I run tpf file as: "trnsys message 142 for type 752: a three litter unit code was set for an input number beyond the range reserve for this type". I changed humidity mode to 1, but the problem still found.
Any one can help me?

regards

Nidal
