Shahen,
Just to be entirely clear, the steps you should
follow
at
that
point
are:
1.
open
TRNBuild
2.
select
File: Import Trnsys3D file...
3.
click
the arrow button in the field in the upper left of
the
window
and browse to find untitled
.idf
(click ok)
4.
click
the radio button at the right hand side of the
window to
indicate
whether the building is in the northern or southern
hemisphere.
5.
click
the button next to "import"
when
I try your file, I am able to import it. If you
aren't, I would
recommend
that you look at the permissions on your \Trnsys17
directory
and make sure that you have administrator level
access to
the
entire directory. I wonder if there is a DLL being
called that
won't
run due to a file permissions problem.
Kind regards,
David

Maybe
one thing: did you import
the idf file by going to:
File

Project (multizone)

& Create project !” ?
(that’s
what I did to
get your
file
up and running…)

As
a beginner to
TRNSYS, I'm trying to
understand how can I
draw a 3d produce a
multizone building by
following the tutorial
"t3d.pdf". However, at
the end when I tried
to import the IDF file
in the
simulation studio
nothing generated and
I'm not getting the
automatic generated
project. I repeated
the
process many
times, even with onezone (just the
first floor), but no
results. What
I'm doing wron
g?
I would be grateful for any help and you can
find the IDF file in
the attachment
(I am using TRNSYS17
with Sketchup
8 pro)
