Thanks for the response, David,
Well I chose to simply use the same *.dat file that was used in
one of the TESS examples, specifically example "Type 533-534". Do
you think this could be the problem? As I understand it, the
parameters get overwritten when I define them in the parameter
menu of the tank.

Lukas,
This is a tricky error to diagnose and fix because it has to do
with the operating system and whether certain resources are
available (and more complicatedly whether Windows knows where to
look for those resources.) What I would recommend you try is to
make sure that you have fully specified the path to the *.dat file
(in Type534's External Files tab) starting with
c:\Trnsys17\MyProjects\...

Hello all,
I started getting Run-time "380"
errors when using type 534 tanks. The error pops up when I try
to access the component menu to change the parameters and so
on. Has anyone come across this issue? Any help would be much
appreciated.
Furthermore, maybe someone has an
alternative suggestion for which tank I should use. The
requirements include:
* 2 submerged heat exchangers
* 1 Auxiliary electrical heater
* 1 port (liquid inlet + outlet)
* Stratification
Thank you for helping out a new user
to make full use of the software.
Have a great day,
ME student, Lukas Jasiūnas.
