Dear Ewen, David,
Could you tell me a bit more about the problem? If a .b17 file is included into the .dck model using assign/include commands, jEPlus should be able to handle
it. However, if it is specified in the .dck using a different syntax, jEPlus will probably run into trouble. In this case, and if you do not have parameters in the .b17 file, a workaround would be to use absolute path for the .b17 file, so all automatically
generated models will point to the correct building description. It would be useful if you can send me your models, the jEPlus project, and the TRNSYS 17 executable, so I can take a look at what exactly the problem is. Regarding
jEPlus+EA, yes it should work with TRNSYS projects, but you will need a newer version. I will send you a link later. I am actually looking for TRNSYS users to test it. It will be very helpful if you are willing to try it. Best regards, Yi From: trnsys-users-bounces@cae.wisc.edu [mailto:trnsys-users-bounces@cae.wisc.edu]
On Behalf Of CHEZE David 227480 Hi Ewen, About multicore simulations I’d the same experience and no user solution. From recent discussion with JEplus developers I’ve heard that JEplus+EA
should work with trnsys as well but I’ve not tested up to now. David De :

De la part de ewen raballand Hello, I'm starting to use jEplus for parametric simulation with Trnsys. It works well but I'm not able to use more than one core... So no parallel job is possible and the reason seems to be a simultaneous acces to the b17 file.
Does anyone has a solution to this problem ?
By the way, I was wondering if jEplus+EA could be used with Trnsys ?
Best regards, Ewen |
