Re: [TRNSYS-users] OTSG

Unless I missed something in the OTSG literature, I would suggest the heat recovery steam generators in the TESS co-gen library.  They should be able to model the OTSG without any issues.

Good morning,

I am working on a simulation for an EOR (Enhanced oil recovery) system and I would like to use a Once Through Steam Generator (OTSG, like this http://inproheat.com/product/heat-recovery-steam-generators/natural-circulation-heat-recovery-steam-generators-behind-gas or this http://www.fseenergy.com/products/heat-recovery/once-through-steam-generators-otsg) assisted by a solar field. I didn't find such kind of steam generator in my TRNSYS libraries (Standard, TESS ad STEC) and I have used a Burner joined with the three component for steam generation contained in the STEC library, as you can see from this picture:

Is there a component whch simulates an OTSG? How I can do to enhance my model, in order to better simulate the Steam generator?

Thanks in advance for your help.
