Re: [TRNSYS-users] radiant cooling in TRNSYS

Enyuan,
I am not aware of any such components. We wrote a radiator model (in the TESS HVAC Library for v17) but it uses algorithms that were developed for heating applications and (among other things) doesn't account for any possible condensation that might occur on the panel. I'd be interested if you find any such models; even if they are just algorithms, it should not be difficult to code them into a TRNSYS Type
Best,
 David

Dear all,

Previously I worked on the radiant cooling using active layer in type 56. Now I wish to build some model that radiant panels are separated, instead of being part of the building, like what people can do for the retrofitting. Is there any related components in the library that I can make use of? Thanks.

cheers,
Enyuan
