Re: [TRNSYS-users] (no subject)

Jingyu,
There are a number of PCM components available. Type204 is freely available in the TRNLib archive: http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/trnlib/library16.htm#thermalstorage. type204 (I believe) assumes that the PCM material is on the inside surface of the zone wall (and thus is in direct contact with the zone air). I also wrote a PCM component (Type1270) that is commercially available: http://www.trnsys.com/tess-libraries/individual-components.php. This model assumes that the PCM layer is sandwhiched between other layers in the wall and that it is not in contact with zone air.
Best,
 David

Dear TRNSYS learners:
I'm a new TRNSYS learner. And my research subject is PCM application in building. I want to write a new PCM type but there are several questions which I cann't solve such as how to calculate inside surface temperature if every wall contains PCM.
I see there is type204 for PCM, but I can't found it. Is anybody can provide this for me or tell me how to get it?
I am very eager for it. Thank you very much.
