Re: [TRNSYS-users] rebuilding TRNDll with IVF 10.1 and MVS 2005

Farah,
Not that I am aware of. I've been using IVF 11. Some of my colleagues are using v12 (Composer XE). If you are using Trnsys16, there may be some problems associated with the IVF compiler and the obj files provided for linking Type56. If you are using Trnsys17, there shouldn't be any issues there. if you can phyically see the newly rebuilt TRNDll.dll in the ..\TrnsysXX\Exe directory, check its size. If a DLL gets to be too big then it can't be loaded into phsyical memory and you get the "did not find TRNDLL" message.
Kind regards,
 David

Hello,
I have the code and libraries of thermophysical properties of some refrigerants (FluidProp) and have tried to rebuild TRNDll using IVF 10.1 and MVS 2005 according to the instructions in the programmer's guide for IVF 9.0 and MVS 2003. After 'successfull' linking, TRNSYS fails to find TRNDll.DLL when running a simulation.
Are there things I have to take into consideration while rebuilding the TRNDll with the new codes from FluidProp using the newer versions of IVF and MVS?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Farah
