Dear Marion, thank you for your quick reply. Now i´ve tried to make my own window with the Window software from LBL. I´ve have read on the Transsolar homepage that the calculated values has to be imported in the library manually. I´ve found almost all the needed data in the window software except the following block (copy from another window): Overall and Center of Glass Ig U-values (W/m2-C) Outdoor Temperature -17.8 C 15.6 C 26.7 C 37.8 C Solar WdSpd hcout hrout hin (W/m2) (m/s) (W/m2-C) 0 0.00 12.25 3.20 7.17 0.63 0.63 0.65 0.65 0.67 0.67 0.69 0.69 0 6.71 25.47 3.19 7.18 0.64 0.64 0.66 0.66 0.68 0.68 0.71 0.71 783 0.00 12.25 3.55 8.29 0.72 0.72 0.74 0.74 0.77 0.77 0.79 0.79 783 6.71 25.47 3.38 8.21 0.74 0.74 0.75 0.75 0.77 0.77 0.79 0.79 Where can i find this in the Window software or do i need to calculate the U-Values in my own? Best regards Sascha Heinze Von: Marion Hiller [mailto:hiller@transsolar.com] Sascha, this data set was generated without spectral data at time where a 1-band window model existed in TRNSYS only. Type 56 includes now 2-band model and old window IDs can produce this error due to the missing spectral data. The window ID remained in the library for backwards compatibility. The best solution is to select a different window. Regards, Marion Dipl.-Ing. Marion Hiller Geschäftsführer: Dipl.Ing. Matthias Schuler, Dipl.Ing. Thomas Auer, Dipl.Phys. I used a glazing from the WinID-Lib and i get 2 warning messages in the List-File: A Message : winlib reader: Incorrect visual transmission values encountered in Window-ID 4101. for an angle of 0 °. Incorrect value 0.625 will be limited to the possible physically maximum 0.575! Please check your window data! B Message : winlib reader: incorrect selectivity of visual+solar transmission caused a negative value for nonvisual Transmission Tra_ang_nonvis = -0.044 for Window-ID 4101 at an angle of 0 ° Tra_ang_nonvis is set to 0 for this angle Does anybody know how to fix this ?
