Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Airnodes and use of the coupling tool
Dear all,
I’m modeling a landscape office. Because I want to measure the temperature at different places, I divided the landscape office in different air nodes.
In attachment, you can find a simplified drawing.
I was wondering if my assumptions for the model are correct:
- Situation 1: pulsion of fresh air in two air nodes of the office and extraction in the corridor (still part of the landscape office)
· Is it correct to model this situation like mentioned in the attachment? (vent = ventilation defined)
· Some questions:
o In the case of cross-ventilation, by the coupling tool do you have to consider the “upper” or the “lower” part?
o For air node 3 is it necessary to define and the coupling and the ventilation? Or is one of these two sufficient?
When you have to define the coupling, is het possible to indicate that a certain air flow is received from different adjacent air nodes?
- Situation 2: pulsion of fresh air in two air nodes of the office and extraction in the corridor which is a different zone now.
· Is it correct to model this situation like mentioned in the attachment?
If you have any questions or if my question isn’t very clear, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thanks in advance,
Joke De Beuckelaer
