Re: [TRNSYS-users] air cooled absorption chiller

Mayank,
I don't think that it would be correct to use Type107 since it is a performance data based model and since the Type has equations built into it to deal with the energy transfer effects of the cooling water stream. I looked a bit online and it seems that a company called Servel and Ropur (http://www.roburcorp.com) make a series of small capacity air-cooled absorption chillers. I did not get so far as to looking carefully at their literature but I think the more correct modeling solution would be to revise Type107 (take it as a starting point and write a new Type of your own) based on their product data.
Kind regards,
 David

Dear all,

I want to make absorption chiller (type 107) in which refrigerant in the condenser is cool by air instead of water and cooling tower. How can I do that ?

Please help me.
