Those will not necessarily be equail all the time. For example, when there is no flow through the pipes as Q_Fluid would be zero as that is a function of the flowrate, yet there still would be energy transfer to/from the soil to the fluid . Feel free to take a look at the source code in the .\Tess Models directory.

I had read the description of those outputs already, but I didn’t understand why
those are not equal?
The loss energy between the input and output flow should be the same as the rate at
which energy is transferred from the fluid to the soil, right? The Values are
actually lightly different.
Does TRNSYS consider the energy loss for example for the pipe deformation or similar?
