Re: [TRNSYS-users] TESS models Plugin problem with Windows 7

Greg,

Make sure you 'run compatability mode XP..." with the Studio.exe not necessarily the Type534.exe. The Studio.exe is located in the ".\Studio\Exe" directory.

Furthermore, it is a great time to upgrade to TRNSYS17 and the TESS Libraries17 and is relatively inexpensive as well. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] TESS models Plugin problem with Windows 7

Hello Everyone,

I'm having trouble getting the plugins to work. Specifically, Type 534, however, I
think there is a compatibility problem with all of them. I have tried navigating to
...TESS Models/Plugins, rt. clicking on the *.exe file of interest, navigating to
the compatibility tab, and tried running in in Windows XP (card 2 and card 3), also
a few other previous versions.

When I try to run the plugin from the studio, it says that the file can not be
found, and that the "request operation requires an elevation". I've tried playing
with some of the security settings to no avail. If anybody has resolved this issue
using TRNSYS 16 and windows7, 64-bit, please let me know.

Thank you very much,
