Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type997 - Outputs

Dear Igor,

If you click on the 'More' button, you will see the description of those outputs: "The rate at which energy is transferred from the fluid to the soil." and "The rate at which energy leaves the ground heat exchanger via fluid flow minus the rate at which enery enters the ground heat exchenger via fluid flow.", respectively. Thus, the "Delivered energy rate" (or "Q_Fluid" in the source code) is simply the product of the inlet and outlet temperature difference, the specific heat and flow rate.

That is simply how TRNSYS outputs the numbers. Simply change the format in Excel.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Type997 - Outputs

Dear TRNSYS-Users,

Type997 has as Output the "Fluid-to-Ground" and also "Delivered Energy"
Where is the main difference between this both outputs?
(The values are just slightly different)
Which one should I chose to get the loss-energy in the pipe?

The other thing is that when I print values (Type25) directly in an Excel-File, I
get each value multiplied with 10^6…
For example instead of 9.85 I get 9.85E+16
Is there a chance to change this?

Thanks in advance

Best regards,
Igor
