Re: [TRNSYS-users] Win7 and fortran

Mehdi,
We have not succeeded in getting CVF to work with Windows7. I believe that MS Visual Studio2003 and IVF8.1 would succeed in recompiling the TRNSYS code (although I cannot be certain about the open-source version of Type56.) TRNSYS 17 comes with precompiled Type56 code for use with later versions of the IVF compiler (I think we have compiled code for IVF9.1 and higher). If at all possible, you would be in best shape if you had access to the MS Visual Studio 2008 and IVF 11.1 or 12.x.
Kind regards,
 David

Dear Trnsys users

My computer is gone and I have to go to win7 as xp is no longer available.

As far as I know, CVF is not working with win7 (if you do not agree please note).

1-      Is there any way to work with cvf in win7 ?

2-      If I must go to IVF is ivf 8.1 and visual studio2003 doing the job or not.

Any comment on this immigration would be highly appreciated.

Regards

Mehdi
