Re: [TRNSYS-users] Trnsys 17 coupling Contam: multipliers
Moises,
If you are working with TRNSYS 17 then that is good! Trnsys17 has a more
logical way of dealing with those multipliers. Essentially the control
signals that open or close a certain path become inputs to the model.
Please refer to the Type97 description in the 04-Mathematical Reference
manual for instructions on how to pass your control variables to Type97;
some manual editing of the *.air file is necessary but it is also pretty
straight forward.
Kind regards,
David

Hi,
I am trying to simulate a mechanical system with variable section air
intakes using Trnsys + Contam (Type97). I want to define the variation
of the section through "multipliers."
The problem is that when I work with TRNSYS 17, the "multipliers"
don't appear. Am I doing something wrong?
In the example "CombinedThermalAirflow" there are no "multipliers" and
in the example "CombinedThermalAirflow_AHU" there is only one
"multiplier" and there four paths. When I modify this last file, this
"multiplier" disappears. If I work with the same files in TRNSYS 16,
the "multipliers" work, but I can't simulate the mechanical
ventilation systems.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
Moises Odriozola.
