[TRNSYS-users] strange QHEAT

Dear all,

  I made a small simulation compared TRNSYS with theory calculation results about QHEAT. But the QHEAT curve is a little strange. PLEASE see the ATTACHEDs 1st,2nd and 3rd which include *.tpf, *.bui and online-plotter files.

1) Known conditions:
Tindoor=20C=Initial Tindoor (livingroom)
Toutdoor=10C=Initial Toutdoor=Tboundary walls (5 walls)
only one wall next to the another zone (kitchen)
no solar and internal etc. gains
no infiltration
Massless walls

From the online plotter, you can see at the beginning of the QHEAT about 7 hours, it fluctuates very frequently. Please tell me some possible reasons about it! I kept Tindoor and Toutdoor as constant, why QHEAT is not a Constant?

2) Still this simulation, I defined Mass-effect walls and without infiltration. PLEASE see the ATTACHEDs 4th, 5th and 6th which include *.tpf, *.bui and online-plotter files.
I compared TRNSYS with theory calculation results about QHEAT. But the TRNSYS-QHEAT result during 24h is only 6300 kJ, however, theory result is 24000 kJ. Some experts told me the reason is TRNBUILD's PROPERTIES' AVERAGE SURFACE TEMPERATURE TEMP. as 293.15K, the walls storage a lot of thermal energy, so QHEAT is 6300 kJ smaller than 24000 kJ. But I changed it as 283.15 K the same as Toutdoor, however, the result is still 6630 kJ. So I'm confused. Please tell me some possible reasons about it! BUT I simulated during one month, the result is 30*23951 kJ, it seems the similar to the theory result 24000 kJ. What're the reasons about it?

These two questions FEAZE me about more than 6 months, so please help me!

Mant thanks in advance!

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] two unexpected errors

Hello,

I am simulating 30 years of hourly data with TRNSYS. Around hour 450000, I get the error ‘Range check error’. When I switch on the debug mode, I get the error

‘An OUTPUT from the specified component model has been written to the global OUT array in a location beyond the allocated number of outputs from this model. Please check the component carefully to insure that INFO(6) is set correctly. The simulation has been aborted to avoid problems caused by over-writing the outputs from other component models’. The model where this error refers to, has the correct nr of outputs specified in the code…

However, this error isn’t there when I switch the debugger off.

What can I do to fix these errors?

With kind regards
