Re: [TRNSYS-users] Heating and Hot water - Storage tank

Thomas,
If you have access to the TESS Libraries you can use Type534, which allows you just about as many input/output combinations as you might want (and then a few more). If you want to continue using Type4, you will probably have to use a flow mixer and a flow diverter (both modes of Type11) to mix two of your flows together before they go into the tank and then separate them once they come back out. You would probably mix the space and water heating system returns and of course this does not give you the option of having those returns go into two different places in the tank.
Best,
David

Hello,
I am working on self-efficient house, I want to simulate a storage tank with 3 inputs and 3 outputs.
- One system for solar panel (1 input; 1 output)
- One system for heating system (1 input; 1 output)
- One system for hot water (1 input; 1 output)
Actually I use "Type 4", we can had node but they are not output/input.
Maybe you have a solution.

Thanks anyway.

Thomas
