Re: [TRNSYS-users] TYPECK ()

Farah,
I would recommend looking in the Programmer's Guide manual (volume 8 if you are using Trnsys16 and volume 7 if you are using Trnsys17) for the full explanation of which values you should send to TYPECK(). Typeck performs a number of different functions and can be called at different times in the simulation. The appropriate values of the last three arguments change based on what you are asking Typeck to do.
Regards,
 David

Hello,
could someone please explain to me the last three parameters of the typeck subroutine? what are the correct INPUT, PARAMETER and DERIVATIVE parameters to pass on? do they refer to the total number in the entire type?
thanks in advance

Hello,
when I add a wall I have to specify the layers that make up the wall, and for each new layer Trnsys requires three quantities: conductivity, capacity and density. Now, the capacity is expressed in KJ/(Kg K), but for the layers of wall I have the thermal conductivity (expressed in W/m²·K) instead of the capacity as required by the program. There is a way to correlate this two quantities so that I can enter the thermal conductivity instead of the capacity?

Thanks in advance
