[TRNSYS-users] floor heating temperature set-point value

Dear all,

  I designed a floor heating ( heating is only floor heating ) temperature PID control system. The set-point value is 19 C when  unoccupied, 21C when occupied. But there is a problem: it needs about 2 hours from 19C to 21C, BUT it needs about 7 hours from 21C to 19C. Attached is the figure.

 Please tell me why it can result in this situation? and how to deal with it?

Many thanks!

br.

wang

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] not linked into trndll.dll
Hi,

When I try to use my new component I get this error
"A TYPE was called in the TRNSYS input file but was either not linked into
trndll.dll or was not found in an external dll. A dummy subroutine was
called in its place. Please link the TYPE or remove it from the input file"
Any help?

Thanks

Please make sure that the DLL that you compiled for your new component is
placed in the appropriate directory (.\Userlib\ReleaseDLLs).

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Bashar,
Also please make sure that you have the following line in your source code:

!DEC$ATTRIBUTES DLLEXPORT :: TYPExxx

where "xxx" is replaced by your Type number. If you are writing Type201, the line would be

!DEC$ATTRIBUTES DLLEXPORT :: TYPE201

Best,
David

David

-How do you Know if the horizontal wall is floor o ceiling?
The TRNSYS 16 building model was non-geometric; when you define a horizontal surface, the only thing that indicates whether it is a floor or a ceiling is the condition that you impose on the opposite side of the surface.
-Creating a Multizone Building,
        when you have to decide the outputs,how can you select a surface(to choose for example TOFL) instead of a Thermal zone?
there are a number of radio buttons across the middle of the window. You still select a zone but then you switch to "surface outputs" and you will see the available NTYPEs for the surfaces in that zone.
        how can you do a multistorey building??
The ceiling of one zone is set as wall type "ADJACENT" and you indicate the name of the zone above whose floor is the same as that ceiling.
I´m interested in create a model about TABS (thermal active building system) which includes active layers
-where can I find examples or tutorials with TRNSYS 16?
I believe that some of the feedback controller examples (..trnsys16\Examples\...) show how to use the active layers.

Best,
 David
