Re: [TRNSYS-users] Questions about the fan-coil unit in a heating or cooling system

Chen,
If you have access to the TessLibs17, you can use Type987 (four-pipe fan coil in the HVAC library). If you have the TessLibs v2 then there is only a 2-pipe (heating) fan coil - Type664 but you can assemble a fan coil using a heating coil model, a cooling coil model, and a fan.

 David

Dear users:

I tried to simulate a heating device with a water-to-water heat pump, and would like to find a fan-coil unit model in TRNSYS library as the heating terminal connected to the load side of the water-to-water heat pump. Could anyone recommend a type to me to simulate the performance of a fan-coil unit. Thank you very much!

Sincerely,

CHEN
