Re: [TRNSYS-users] type 666 problem

Dear Merckx Hannes,

I apologize for the inconvenience, but it appears that there has recently been a correction in the source code to Type666. The COP and capacity ratios were in the opposite order. This correction will be implemented in the new version 17 Libraries. Upon your request, I can recompile a DLL and send it to you as well.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] type 666 problem

Dear TRNSYS users,

I’ve been trying to build a model using the component type 666 “water cooled chiller” in TRNSYS 17.

I constantly receive an error warning that temperatures are out of range, even when I try to simulate the example file provided by TESS. The FFLP output variable is continuously 1.

I assume that there is a problem with the dynamicdata routine for calling the external data.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Kind regards,

Merckx Hannes
