Guy, I believe that your suggestion of connecting the PID controller to
the auxiliary cooler would work fine. If you have convergence or cycling problems
with the PID controller, set the gain extremely low, and the integral equal to
the simulation timestep. If you are looking for a cooler with a cooling rate as
input, check TESS type 682 – flow stream loads, or you could model an actual
