Stantec in Calgary in currently seeking a Senior Sustainability Engineer. Reporting to the Managing Lead of the Sustainable Solutions team within Stantec’s Building Engineering group, the purpose of this position is to provide direction and leadership in the execution of sustainability projects, including alternative energy and energy efficiency engineering.
Stantec's Sustainable Solutions comprises a highly specialized team concentrated to develop outside the box solutions to climate comfort and energy management problems. As a leader within this team, the successful candidate will provide technical guidance, design direction, and most importantly facilitate creative yet practical solutions.
Transient thernal analysis is a core competency in today's innovative design methodology. Skill with TRNSYS and other component based design tools will be a favored asset for the selection process.
