John,There is an AFTER command that can be implemented in the deck. Check the TRNEdit manual for a description of how the syntax is implemented but basically you specify the command, then specify the program that should be launched, then specify the name of the file that should be opened.
If you have access to a Fortran compiler, a more flexible thing that you could do is to write some code in the TRNOUT routine. This is called as the very last step in a simulation and can be used to do whatever you want (including opening raw output files and reformatting them to look nicer).
Kind regards, David bushjd@umd.edu wrote:
Hello TRNSYS Users, Is there a way to have TRNSYS open an output file at the end of a simulation?I am developing a model for someone else, a not-in-practice TRNSYS user, and would like to have one of my output external files automatically open at the end of the simulation, or something similar. I want to have the integrated loads are shown in plain, numeric values automatically. Basically, a summary page. Does anyone know of a good way of doing this?ThanksJohn _______________________________________________TRNSYS-users mailing list TRNSYS-users@cae.wisc.edu https://www-old.cae.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/trnsys-users
