Giacomo, I wrote an active chilled beam model a few years ago for TRNSYS. It is essentially the combination of some air streams that mix together and a cooling coil that operates above the dew point temperature. The client wanted to keep the rights to the Type so I am afraid that it is not available. However, I had a look at the EnergyPlus engineering reference and they lay out a chilled beam model that could probably be duplicated in TRNSYS. It is less of a first-principals model and requires some parameters that would have to be obtained from a chilled beam manufacturer but mathematically it did not look too complex. Kind regards, david giacomo satta wrote: Dear all, we are two students of Politecnico of Milan and we have a problem: we need to simulate chilled beams in trnsys but we are not able to make this: Does exist any application or any way to do this? -- *********************************************************************** Thermal Energy System Specialists (TESS), LLC David BRADLEY 22 N.
