Hanani, I would recommend looking at the Matlab example to make sure that it runs and that you understand how the communication works between the two programs, then try to modify it to suit your own needs. Let's say like this: I want to design controller using matlab/Simulink. and I have the model in Simulink .mdl file. How I can integrate this file with TRNSYS? What should I do first, next and so on.... Can anyone help me to solve this problem? I then coupled these .m files with Trnsys16 Studio using the type155 component. They work fine individually, but when i try to make them comunicate, linking outputs from one of them to inputs of another one, i receive this error message: "Runtime error! Program: C:\Program Files\Trnsys16\Exe\TRNExe.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way." On the other end, liniking the Type155 with a different component, as the weather data reading and processing Type109, doesn't give me the same problem. Can anyone help me to solve this problem? How can i re-compiled my TRNSYS source code and is there any risk in doing that ? Furthermore, where can i find the Trnsysconstants file ? Thanks for your answer. Best Regards. The process for recompiling the DLL depends on which compiler you are using. The two most likely are the Compaq Visual Fortran compiler or the Intel Visual Fortran compiler. If you do not have a Fortran compiler then you will need to ask your distributor to create a TRNDll.dll with a higher limit on the number of equations for you.
