Re: [TRNSYS-users] doubts with time step

Matias,
For almost all cases, TRNSYS outputs are average values over a timestep. An output of watts would therefore be the average instantaneous power generated by the PV over the course of the hour (W, not Wh, and kJ/hr, not kJ).
Kind regards,
 David

Hi to everyone!
I have a small doubt with the time step.
If I have my time step set to 1 hour, the values I obtain of power, which output units are in W, are really energy units of value W*h, aren´t they?
I allways thought it was like that, but now I am obtaining very low pic power for every hour in a photovoltaic array and I am begining to doubt.
Thanks!
