Re: [TRNSYS-users] About Microsoft Visual Studio2008

Dear Matt Duffy,

  Thanks for your reply.

I am using Visual Studio2005 now.But after rebuilding solution (Ivf91-Mvs2005.sln),
type56 cannot be linked into trndll.dll

Following is the reminding message from the TRNSYS, please check:

"TRNSYS Message 105 : A TYPE was called in the TRNSYS input file but was either not linked into trndll.dll or was not found in an external dll. A dummy subroutine was called in its place. Please link the TYPE or remove it from the input file"

As for this reminding, could you tell me what should I do ?

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.
Best regards.
Yi Zheng

Dear Yi ZHENG,

I am currently using IVF 11.0, but I still have Visual Studio2005, and to
the best of my knowledge it still works fine. Try opening the solution
file (Ivf91-Mvs2005.sln) in the ".\Compilers" directory. It might still
work. It definitley wouldn't hurt to try.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject:[TRNSYS-users] About Microsoft Visual Studio2008

Hello everybody!
When using FORTRAN to build up a new project, is there anyone who is
using Microsoft Visual Studio2008 (Ivf11) ?
    Thanks for one question:
In TRANSYS's Compilers folder, There is no "Ivf91-Mvs2008" but
"Ivf91-Mvs2005", so I want to know whether I can create DLL file
successfully or not by using Ivf91-Mvs2008.
  Thanks for giving this answer!
