[TRNSYS-users] Vented Trombe Wall integrated with Building ?

Dear Users,

Please explain which Type is to be used for Vented Trombe Wall integrated with Building ?
I am working with the TRNSYS program (version 16).

I wanted to ask some questions related to the components (Types) that can be used
in the Assembly Panel in Simulation Studio in order to simulate
the vented Trombe wall. Could you please tell me which Types one can use for vented Trombe wall integrated with building  (Type 19 or Type 56)?

After putting the building itself in Assembly Panel, how did you add the
thermal storage wall (Type 36) to it! did you just connect them together by
a link, I mean the building and the Thermal storage wall, or you defined the
Trombe wall inside the TRNBuild (Type 56)?
Simulation of vented Trombe wall Type to be used ?

Dear Trnsys users,

I am working on the simulation of a refrigeration system on the refrigerated transport. I used Type88 to model the refrigerated space and Type508a to model the cooling coil inside the refrigerated space. The temperature of the refrigerated space is at -18oC. The model can work. However, sometimes when I change some parameters, such as the flow rate of the pump and the fan, the simulation will stop after running for a while. I guess it is maybe because of the low temperature. In real application, there will be water condensed on the wall of the refrigerated space and also the cooling coil. And at the low temperature (-18oC), there will be ice formed.

Do you have any other idea on that? Do you think Type88 and Type508 can work at low temperature such as around -20~-30oC? Can these two components solve the condensing problem? Is there any other people working on the low temperature simulation? Have you ever come across any problems?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Ming
