Re: [TRNSYS-users] FW: Pond component

Title: TRNSYS Training confirmation
Kent,
 I think that the DLL you are running and the Fortran code that you attached are not quite the same. I had to make a few changes in the source code before I was able to run the project that you sent. When I did run the project, I got an error when the variable PRPIPEFILM got set to a negative number, then got raised to a non integer power during the Type's iteration. The offending equation is:

NUPIPEFILM=(0.6+0.387*RAPIPEFILM**(1./6.)/(1+(0.559/PRPIPEFILM)**(9./16.))**(8./27.))**2.

I hope that helps...
David

I am having trouble with a pond component, Type 230.  I keep getting an error regarding the psychrometrics subroutine, that the subroutine has been called with a wet bulb temp above the max wet bulb temp for the given pressure right after the sim starts.  Any suggestions on where the problem may be?

David,

Attached are the studio file, list file, and source code file of the pond component.  The "replace" command which we last discussed did eliminate the 2 errors at that time, but now there is 1 error regarding the Psychrometrics utility routine and the simulation crashes at .13hour.

Thanks for taking a look at this, and see you tomorrow.

Kent
