Re: [TRNSYS-users] TESS libraries problem

Filippo,
You should not need to add the TESS Library components to the Fortran workspace or rebuild the TRNDll.dll in order to use those components. If the TESS Libraries are installed in the proper location, you should find a series of DLLs in the ..\Trnsys16\UserLib\ directory. Those DLLs are loaded by TRNSYS when you run a simulation. The notices that you are receiving indicate that the components you are trying to use are not being found anywhere. Please check in the ..\Trnsys16\UserLib directory and make sure that there are no subdirectories called \ReleaseDLLs or \DebugDLLs. If there are, then move the contents of ..\Trnsys16\UserLib\ReleaseDLLs\***.dll to ..\Trnsys16\UserLib\***.dll, and try to run the simulation again.
Kind regards,
 David
Thank you so much David for your reply.

Maybe I should have written back to the forum (instead of bothering you and other developers with this pending item, sorry) saying that I already fixed the problem last Friday. I've promptly been helped by Richard Heimrath from the University of Graz, who gave me the same instructions you've just written.

However this gives me strong confidence on this Forum, and moreover is another proof that it works great.

Thank you all
Filippo
