Engineering Faculty University of
Wyoming The Department of
Civil and Architectural Engineering at the University of Wyoming invites
applications for a full-time tenure track assistant professor faculty position
in Architectural Engineering. The Department's Architectural Engineering Program
is ABET accredited, and has an emphasis in structural and mechanical building
systems. The Program has
approximately 200 undergraduate students. We
are interested in applicants with research and teaching interests in building
mechanical systems including heating, ventilating, and air conditioning,
renewable energy technologies, alternative energy systems, energy-efficient and
sustainable building design, thermal systems simulation, and building controls
with information management. The position entails developing an externally
funded research program with peer-reviewed publication activities, and teaching
at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in
Engineering. Eligibility for professional
registration, as well as industrial experience, are desirable.
The College of
Engineering has over 80 faculty and offers seven ABET-accredited degree
programs. The Department of Civil
& Architectural Engineering has 19 research-active faculty members and an
enrollment of over 400 undergraduate and 40 graduate students. Laramie has a population of
approximately 27,000 people and is a short distance from many outdoor recreation
