Subject: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSED application with Type56
Good morning, everybody,
I have a question from Philippe Andre. Please find below the original
email. I guess that a similar problem was faced during the development
of Transol.
Thanks,
Diego
A question which I am faced to by one of our client:
They are a consulting engineers office and they are developing a TRNSED
application for one of their own clients. This application includes a
Type
56 model and should involve changing some parameters of the building
model.
Therefore, they plan to develop a specific interface (to enter the
parameters in a quicker way than using TRNBUILD) but they face the
problem
of generating the .BLD and .TRN files, which still requires the use of
TRNBUILD. Does the TRNSYS license (and the TRNSED generation facility)
allow to distribute TRNBUILD as part of the TRNSED application or is
there
any other way of providing such an application to their client?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Philippe.
