Re: [TRNSYS-users] Is this a bug of Type 109-user?

Dear Jianhua,

Which version are you using? We made several fixes to Type109 in version 16.01.000. I ran the example with the current version 16.01.0002, and I was not able to reproduce the error. I would recommend that you contact your distributor for instructions to download the latest version.
Best regards,

Diego

Dear TRNSYS users:

I found something very strange with type 109 user which might be a bug of the component. Can any body who knows explain why and help me to solve the problem?

I noticed the problem when I worked on my system using type 109-user to read one week of global and diffuse radiation on horizontal surface. Later I found out that it is a common problem even with the example (type109.tpf).

If you have time to have a look at it, you can repeat the problem by the following steps:

1, using Studio open the example in folder

..\Trnsys16\Examples\Weather Data\type109.tpf

2, change simulation start time to 1, stop time to 168 (1 week) and run the simulation. Focus on radiation data of Wuerzburg. No problem.

3, change time step to 0.5 hour and run the simulation again. Then you will find that there are no radiation data imported for the first day of Wuerzburg.

Is that very strange? Why?

Since I need it to read one week data for comparison between calculation and measurement, I have to solve the problem. Please stand up and help me if you know the reason.
Thanks in advance!
