Re: [TRNSYS-users] Insert new equation

Dear Samir,

To define your temperature air flow, you can use forcing functions from "Utility" Library:

- Forcing Function 1 = 1 from 9h to 18h
- Forcing Function 2 = 1 from 18h to 24h

Then, connect the ouputs to an equation window:

- Output Forcing Function 1 = Input1 Equation Window
- Output Forcing Function 2 = Input2 Equation Window

define an other input for the external temperature (which can be called "Text")

Then define an Output in equation window :

Output = 23*Input1 + Text*Input2

The output defined above will describe temperature air flow profile every day of the year.

Concerning the equation functions see the manual 'Volume 7- TRNEdit', section 7.2.9 'The EQUATIONS Statement" for a complete description.

Best regards,

Adrien

Dear all,

I must insert new equation to define a temperature of air flow.

The schedule of temperature air flow is:

23°C between 9h and 18h

outside temperature between 0h and 9h , and between 18h and 24h

and this during the entire year.

I would know what function allow this scenario and what represent different functions (GE,NE,MIN,MOD,….) and how I must use them.

_NB_: I defined air flow temperature like an input in TRNBUILD.

Best regards.
