Thibaut,
I want to read data from this file: 1 1 1 2.7 0.0041 0 1.00 160 1 1 2 2.7 0.00415 0 1.33 173 1 1 3 2.5 0.00409 0 1.67 187 1 1 4 2.3 0.00408 0 2.00 200 1 1 5 2 0.00403 0 2.33 197 1 1 6 1.8 0.00397 0 2.67 193 ....The problem comes with the 5th line, where there is 2 instead of 2.0. when I read it, I get 0.2. The data card I use is: (19X,F5.1,....). I can't see the solution, and I can't replace it because there are a lot of that cases in my file.
You do not need to specify a read format in TRNSYS, as long as there is at least one blank character (space, tab) between all the numbers on the same line. I tested your file with Type 9 in free format and it seems to work fine (see attached project). I used Type 9 in mode 5 (Type9c) and I assumed all data were averaged over one hour so you may have to make a few changes to Type 9's configuration if my assumption is not correct.
I hope this helps, Michaël Kummert -- _________________________________________________________________ Michaël Kummert École Polytechnique de Montréal - Dept. of Mechanical Engineering PO Box 6079, stn.
