Re: [TRNSYS-users] data reader

Dear Thibaut,

You may try to use Type 9e. This is a generic data reader that recognizes the spaces or tabs between the data columns and reads it appropriately. In this version of the component, you do not have to specify the format for reading the data.
Best regards,

Diego

Dear Trnsys users,

I want to read data from this file:
    1 1 1 2.7 0.0041 0 1.00 160
    1 1 2 2.7 0.00415 0 1.33 173
    1 1 3 2.5 0.00409 0 1.67 187
    1 1 4 2.3 0.00408 0 2.00 200
    1 1 5 2 0.00403 0 2.33 197
    1 1 6 1.8 0.00397 0 2.67 193
     ....
The problem comes with the 5th line, where there is 2 instead of 2.0. when I read it, I get 0.2. The data card I use is: (19X,F5.1,....). I can't see the solution, and I can't replace it because there are a lot of that cases in my file.

Thanks in advance!
