Emmanuel,
  In order to modify existing components, you need to have access to a 
Fortran compiler. Either Compaq Visual Fortran or Intel Visual Fortran are 
the recommended compilers. The procedures for modifying, recompiling, and 
creating a new DLL are outlined in the 08 Programmers Guide. I would 
recommend starting with section 8.3.16 and 8.4.9.
