Re: [TRNSYS-users] Intel Fortran Compiler 9.0

Dear Paul,

Intel decided to stop developing Compaq Visual Fortran, and indicated that the users should migrate to Intel Visual Fortran 9.0 The TRNSYS Developer group is working on making sure that everything works fine with IVF90. I will have news in a few days.
Best regards,

Diego

Hi everyone,
I am just wondering if anyone has experiences with the follow-up product to the Compaq Visual Fortran Compiler. Compaq was taken over by Intel and they are selling a compiler under their brand now. It's called Intel Fortran Compiler 9.0 Has anyone used it to create DLL's and can report whether it works with TRNSYS 16 and is worth buying? If it doesn't work, does anyone know of a retailer that maybe still has a few copies of the old Compaq compiler? Thanks!
Paul
