RE: [TRNSYS-users] .dll file

Hi Nicola,

If you have a DLL containing only the 5 types (and not the entire TRNSYS
kernel), this will not work with TRNSYS 15. The possibility to put a set of
types into a separate DLL (and use it without recompiling anything) was
introduced in TRNSYS 16.

In TRNSYS 15, you can only have one DLL containing everything; it must be
called TRNLIB.DLL.

You can either
a) obtain the source code of the types, translate it back to TRNSYS 15
calling conventions and recompile everything (TRNSYS kernel + standard types
+ your types) or
b) buy TRNSYS16.

Which solution is faster depends on the complexity of your financial
administration ...

Hi everybody,
my problrm is this: I'm using TRNSYS 15 and I have a library of types with a
.dll file and 5 fortran subroutines. Every time I try to compile in fortran
ambient it gives me errors. What should I do to get it working? Is it
possible that the library is written for TRSYS 16 and it doesn't work on my
version?

Thak you
  Nicola
