Dear Julio:On the website, you can find two subroutines that model desiccant components:
- Hybrid Liquid Desiccant Cooling System - Rotary Desiccant DehumidifierThey are formated for Trnsys15, so you could run them in legacy mode or update it to the Trnsys16 format, following the explanations in Volume 8 of the manual (Programmer's Guide). Something to be aware of is that these components have as type numbers 42 and 32, so you need to change this numbers to 201-250, which are reserved for user-written components. Dear Diego In the article "The potential of solar energy it uses desiccant cooling cycles" .H.M.Henning, published by International Journal of Refrigeration ,the author refers that to design desiccant cooling system, they used the software TRSYS version 14.2 and two subroutines were developed the Type 275 and Type 276, which model this system .In the version of the TRNSYS 16 we have not found these components and revising in the TRNSYS web these components were not found. Our doubt is if are available these components or that we would be necessary to make to obtain them.
