Load Profile component

Is there a component in TRNSYS 18 that describes the electrical load profile so I can connect to set of compressors? also if i want  to control the whole system so that half of the system works and after the storage tanks is filled so the other part of the system works, what is the component?

If your load profile is a repeating pattern (like a daily schedule), you can use the Type 14 forcing function to define your load profile. If your load profile comes from measured data, you can use the Type 9 data reader to read in your load profile. There are a number of ways to control your system. For example, you could use the basic aquastat model in the standard Controllers library to produce an on/off signal based on some indicator of the tank's fill (mass, pressure, % of full, or whatever indicator you have available or prefer). The aquastat models (in fact most of the controller models) are written with temperature control in mind, but there's no reason the same control principles can't be applied to mass, pressure, or other variables. (Well, there's one reason ... the Simulation Studio won't allow outputs and inputs in different unit systems to connect. You can get around that by a) for a quick fix, passing the mass/pressure/etc. you want to monitor through the equation block, which will disassociate the value from its units, or b) for a more permanent fix, create a new proforma for the controller with the correct units for the monitored variable). You could then connect the on/off control signal from the controller directly to your system components, and/or to a diverting valve that directs flow to one part of the system when the signal is 1, and another part when the signal is 0.
