Welcome to the TRNSYS Users Forum.
The forum is a place where people can interact and have discussions about different topics involving the use of the TRNSYS software package. Here you can post topics for discussion or questions on using TRNSYS and get advice from other users or TRNSYS experts. This forum is not intended for detailed technical support. Users should contact their distributor’s hotline for such assistance.
Some tips for success on using the forum:
- Follow the Forum Rules posted in Forum Administration.
- There are categories for different types of topics and questions. Post your topic or question into the proper category.
- Before posting a topic or question search the existing topics (and the TRNSYS Users listserv archive or Post archive) to see if a similar topic or question has already been answered.
- Use a descriptive topic name. Don’t use attention getting subjects, they don’t get attention and only annoy people.
- State the version of TRNSYS and which add-ons your are using.
- Include enough specific details for your topic of question to be answered. Just posting “Why am I getting an error?” without describing the specific error and what you are trying to do when you get the error will not receive a response that fixes your issue.
- Remember when people help you, they are doing you a favor. Be patient, help people out by posting good descriptions of what you need help with, and be polite even if a response does not solve your issue.
- Moderators may edit your post for clarity or move your topic to a more appropriate category.
Dear Trnsys users,
When running my simulation, I get this error (see image).
Does anyone know why ?
DC_FILES refer to daylight coefficient ? if yes, I'm not performing daylighting calculation.

Wirich,
This is an error that will need to be investigated by a developer. Can you please send the project, *.b18 and any other files needed in order to run the project to your distributor so that they can forward it on to the appropriate people?
Thanks,
David
@davidbradley Here are the dck and b18 files, with the data files needed to run the simulation. Just for some detail. This is an openspace model with one glazed facade. Initially, my previous model consisted in 3 subglazing on the facade. Each subglazing type could be "shaded" or "no shaded" in order to apply a shading device on the glazing. That leads to 4 possible states : totally open, shading 1/3 drawn, shading 2/3 drawn, shading totally drawn. It worked well. Then, I modified my model to get now 6 subglazing on the facade, just to be more accurate on the shading closing rate. I guess I missed something during the modification. But I clearly don't see the error, despite multiple comparison with the previous model. (p.s. I modified by hand in the dck and b18 file as I didn't have a tpf project). I hope these additional info will help you to understand the error. BR Wirich

Edit : you need to change the file extension from png to zip
Hi David,
Have you had the time to have a look at my project ?
Best regards
