Dear Aly,
If you have 3D geometry in your SketchUp-File (imported from dwg/ifc/..), that is suited
for TRNSYS (closed room volumes, like with ifc spaces), you can also copy this geometry into a Trnsys3d zone. For this you should best open a new SketchUp instance, there add an empty Trnsys zone and then with the zone activated copy the geometry from the
other file into the new one (file -> past in place). That way the geometry becomes associated with the zone like if you drew new geometry with the zone activated. We are currently working on updating the Trnsys3d Tutorial including a better explanation on
how this works.
