Re: [TRNSYS-users] matlab2020b + trnsys18

Dear all, dear David,

Thanks for the quick reply. I think we have done all the steps. The only thing I found that could possible lead to problems is the fact that the directory is not the first in the path which is about matlab. We now have more than one directory in the windows search path directing to matlab folders. Should that (win64 folder) be the only one?

We will keep trying.

Best regards

Daniel

Daniel,

Yes, the \bin\win64 folder should be on the search path. It sounds as though you have done all the correct things. I would recommend that you refer to the Type155 documentation in the 04-MathematicalDescriptions manual as it contains an up to date knowledge base of problems and solutions for getting Trnsys18 and Matlab to play nicely together.

kind regards,

 David

Dear all,

I am trying to use TYPE155 with matlab2020b and trnsys18. Someone got us the dll file for the type155 prepared for the version 2020b of matlab. However we are still receiving the typical message of error. It says type155.dll was found but could not be loaded and that Matlab’s bin\win32\ folder should be in the windows’ search path. This was already done by us as well.

Now, since matlab2020b and trnsys18 are both 64bit, should we use the bin\win64\ folder at the windows’ search path instead? Or should we do something else?

Best regards

Daniel Lemos Marques
