Dear Karol,

I assume there is a misunderstanding of NTYPE 8 (DQAIR) (see 05-MultizoneBuilding.pdf)

NType 8 is the sensible change in internal energy of air in airnode since the beginning of the simulation.

Therefore, instead of using NType8(at time = current timestep) you need to use the following term:

   NType8(at time = current timestep) - NType8(at time = previous timestep).

If you look at your xls SUM is always “equal” to – (dtC_dtau ) of the previous line.

Best,

Marion

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] energy balance of air in zone

Dear All,

I have generated thermal balance of air in zone, I use for it:

  • QCSURF, NTYPE3 (convection from surfaces),
  • QGCONV, NTYPE 7 (convection internal heat gains),
  • QINF, NTYPE 4 (infiltration),
  • QVENT+QCOUP, NTYPE5+ NTYPE6 (ventilation form system and other rooms),
  • -QSENS-QRHEAT, - NTYPE2- NTYPE 78 or QHEAT-QCOOL-QRHEAT, NTYPE30- NTYPE31- NTYPE78 (heating and cooling system without radiation part),
  • DQAIR, NTYPE 8 (change of air internal energy).

But the balance is not equal zero (enclosed).

I would be grateful for any tips.

Best,
Karol
