Karim,

I would steer you towards using Type9 to read the data file and
Type16 to process whatever solar radiation you might need.

kind regards,

Dear Trnsys users,
We are applying for an energy certificate, which needs a thermal
simulation for a building with daily outdoor temperatures ranging
between -8°C and -10°C and the solar radiation should be assigned
certain attributes. While the location is in Vienna, we don't really
know how to overwrite the data in the tm2 weather file of Vienna in
certain days ? I tried to explore types 54, 99 and 109, but I
couldn't reach anything. Thank you in advance.

Hello David,
Thank you very much for your reply. Actually the sky radiation settings I need to edit are: Haziness factor (Linke factor), which has a range from 3 to 40, And Scatter factor (Reitz factor), which has a range from 0 to 1. I found only Cloudiness in the documentation of components in Type69. Do you know which input in which Type is suitable for the mentioned factors ?
Best regards
Karim
