Re: [TRNSYS-users] Converting ERA5 data to .tm2 or similar

Florian,

I am not aware of a converter. I had a look at the ERA5 reanalysis site; there is a lot of interesting information there. At the risk of asking what might be a very dumb question, is there a standard format for the data or is it more of a data base from which you can extract the data that you want (in which case I assume the format will depend on the collection of data elements that you have selected). In principal if there is a standard format to the files then it would not be hard for us to add a mode to Type15 in order to read those files directly.

kind regards,

 David

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there is an easy way to convert era5 reanalysis data to a dataformat that can easily be read by TRNSYS18. I would greatly appreaciate all help in this matter.

Best regards,
